Ximena Valdivia, 2009 recipient of the SLA Affirmative Action Scholarship

The SLA Affirmative Action Scholarship is granted for graduate study in librarianship leading to a master's degree at a recognized school of library or information science. Only one US$ 6,000 Affirmative Action Scholarship is available each year. Last year, in 2009, the scholarship recipient was Florida and Caribbean Chapter member, Ximena Valdivia. We recently interviewed Ms. Valdivia.
