REFORMA de Florida reactivated

At ALA 2011 in New Orleans, the REFORMA National’s Board of Directors voted unanimously voted to reactivate the REFORMA de Florida chapter.

The first objective of the new board is to facilitate communication among members in order to promote the vision of REFORMA de Florida. Venues for this objective include the subscription to the Latino Library Services listserv; online meeting platforms, the updating of the REFORMA de Florida webpage; and the updating and promotion of the chapter’s existing Facebook page. In addition, they will work to promote REFORMA de Florida’s mission to recruit new members and promote the library and information services to the Latino and Spanish speaking communities in the State of Florida.
