Member Catherine Lavallée-Welch presents keynote address at conference

Chapter member Catherine Lavallée-Welch presented the closing keynote address April 13 at the 2012 Joint Spring Conference of the Kentucky Library Association Academic Library Section, Kentucky Library Association Special Library Section and the Special Libraries Association Kentucky Chapter.

The theme of the conference was “Become the Library They Need: Understanding User Expectations”. Lavallée-Welch’s presentation was titled “The New Academic Library Building – You Can’t Get What You Want (Til You Know What You Want).

The opening keynote speaker at the conference was Janice Lachance, CEO of SLA, who spoke about anticipating users’ needs.
