Florida’s Paul “The Library Guy” Clark wins national “I Love My Librarian” award

From Clay Today, http://www.claytodayonline.com/content/2883_1.php#rating

“Paul Clark, known by Florida legislators and in literary circles as “The Library Guy,” is one of 10 librarians in the nation to receive the “I Love My Librarian” award sponsored by the Carnegie Corporation of New York, the New York Times and the American Library Association.(…)
Clark became known as “The Library Guy” because he planted himself at the state capitol every day for two weeks during the 2010 legislative session. He would hold up signs – sometimes two or three at a time – urging politicians to cancel their plans to cut $21 million in public library funding from the state budget.”
