Geeks Bearing Gifts: Unwrapping New Technology Trends J. Dale Prince, Technology Coordinator, National Network of Libraries of Medicine

With the advent of AJAX and other interactive technologies, the Internet has become a collaborative workspace. Organizations, small and large, find that resources on the Web facilitate group work and remove much of the sting from being chair of a committee or task force. “Geeks Bearing Gifts: unwrapping new technology trends” addresses these developments with a hands-on approach that’s both informative and fun. The session covers wikis, collaborative word processing, meeting scheduling, and numerous other technologies that aid in corralling the cats.
